Who hasn’t wished they had Michelle Keegan’s hair at some point? Okay, it’s probably not just her hair we are after as the star always looks absolutely stunning.
Now, the actress has chosen to ditch something else… A few inches of hair! She debuted a dramatic new hair cut on her Instagram story which shows her long locks looking noticeably shorter.

The ‘Our Girl’ star has done away with her signature long, luscious locks for a shorter, chic-cer do – and we have to say, it suits her!
The former Coronation Street actress star posed in a pair of sunglasses to show off her sleek shoulder-length hairdo. Michelle has chosen to cut off her long hair for the summer and who can blame her, it is outrageously hot out there.
She posted the picture on Sunday with the caption: “Sunday Mood. Casual kinda day”.
Michelle’s dark locks still look in amazing condition, despite the fact that she dyed her hair blonde last summer while she filmed doc-drama ‘Tina & Bobby’. The star admitted at the time that bleaching her hair for the role completely ‘ruined it’, and she’s been battling ever since to get it back to it’s former fabulous condition.
Michelle has always been open about her beauty regime and revealed some of her top hair tips to the Woman team last September in our quick fire questions with Michelle Keegan. In addition, she said she avoids using heat on her hair and doesn’t use hair curlers or a hairdryer much. Michelle also swears by a Olaplex hair treatment twice a week.
Not that she needs all of her favourite beauty products to achieve her glamorous style either. Michelle is a natural beauty! Who can forget when she appeared on ITV’s Good Morning Britain with no make-up after being stuck in traffic?!

Michelle is currently filming for the third series of the BBC’s Our Girl in South Africa. She opened up about missing her husband, Mark Wright, as filming has meant the pair can only see each other once a month. Also, during a Facebook live interview with Revlon, she said: “To be fair, the hardest part is probably not seeing my family and friends for the time that I’m away filming. Although we FaceTime all the time, I’m in a lucky position I know that, but you miss home a little bit.”
