Italian Bean Bruschetta
A healthy twist on traditional bruschetta that is full of flavor.
1 (15.8-ounce) can BUSH’S BEST Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained
1 large ripe tomato, diced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon black pepper or red pepper flakes
24 slices (1/2-inch thick) French or Italian bread, grilled or lightly toasted
- In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except bread; mix well.
- Spoon mixture on bread and serve.
Makes 24 servings.
